Fracture Academy: Peds Edition
This resource is designed to serve as a guide for common pediatric fractures for medical students. It’s designed to be used as a quick reference during clinical care. This website will help you:

Propose the initial management steps for common pediatric fractures and when to consult orthopedics
Differentiate urgent from non-urgent fractures based on clinical features like deformity, neurovascular status, and open injuries
Communicate fracture findings clearly during consults (orthopedics, medicine, trauma surgery etc.) using correct terminology
To Use:
Scan through the various chapters labeled “courses” and find the bone relevant for you!
We separate the information based on the three sections: definition, special considerations and treatments
On each course, you will find mages and definitions to help understand fracture classification and treatment plans, making consulting more straightforward and easing the communication
On the quick reference tab, you will find hand-drawn images of locations of the various fracture patterns! Feel free to download and use for your notes and add any details you would like to add
